Saturday, January 18th - 1st full day at Beach House.
As we woke up, we headed upstairs to Grandma & Pops' room for coffee chats......some of us girls that is. Breakfast & dinner each day was prepared by a combination of family members......except for Mom & Dad, they were not allowed to cook AT ALL. They were waited on at all times (not really, but you get the idea).
After breakfast, some of us headed to the ocean for a brisk walk. It was chilly!!! Cards were played & played & played some more. Pool too!! Sophia loved learning to play & did really well. Her first experience. We relaxed, caught up with each other and just enjoyed being together, not having to do anything.
Meal preparations were being made for the special anniversary dinner this evening planned by Melissa, Kirsten, Susannah, Alexis & Hayley. (Kelly & I are not the fancy dinner girls ya know). It was AMAZING!!! From the menus to the many courses to the flowers - no details was left out. A memorable evening for sure! Thank you girls for being so creative and wonderful chefs!!
