The Rissell's: Minnesota Trip

We had been planning for months........

The date finally arrived..........

Flying to Minnesota for Hayley's wedding!!!!

Tuesday, September 9th

We flew out of Charlotte, NC & arrived in Minneapolis, MN at 1:00pm. Kelly picked us up......we were so excited to see her! We went to Elvy's and hung out with the Bride-to-be for a while. Abby loves the doll house (thank you Kelly for hanging on to that)!

Around 4:30pm, we were off to Annalisa & Zach's. As my BFF, she knows I love & miss Famous Dave's......so she ordered it as take-out for dinner. Finley's excitement when we drove up was so cute! She & Abby burned off energy outside before dinner. Emma & Sophia giggled downstairs (Karin & Annalisa: it reminded me of us at that age). It was great to see the kids pick right up with each other.....like they were together last week. That is true friendship! After dinner, we walked to the park by the river. Such a lovely evening! We are so happy for Anne, Zach, Emma & Finley to be welcoming a new baby in the next couple weeks.

Wish we had more time......that is the common phrase for the week in MN we just had.

We made our way to Steve & Jenny's (where we stayed). The girls loved meeting the dogs Sully & Sidney. The accommodations were superb! Comfortable and everything we needed. Thankful for great friends we have!!
