Brent, Jenny, Noah and Grandma Kathy stayed with us two nights in August. It was so fun catching up! Miss them!!! When Sophia & Noah were little (born 6 days apart), we spent many Tuesday's together ~ playdate for the kids/adult conversation for the moms. Lots of great memories made over the years! We just picked right up, easy conversation as if we just saw each other recently - it's been over 2 years though.
Thursday evening we had dinner for the 8 of us, relaxed and chatted the evening away. Friday I drove them around the area (showed them our KH, my parent's place, the girl's schools, etc) and then we caught some rays at the Statesville Waterpark. It was HOT!!! The lazy river was a must! That evening my parents and brother Mick brought dinner for all of us to enjoy. It was like old times with Mick & Brent. We all go WAY back together!!! We lounged in the screened porch and the guys played some Wii. Saturday morning they hit the road to Disney.
Thank you so much for making the stop in NC to see us! We really treasured our time together!!!
