Keek & Nate's Visit

On January 11th, Keek and Nate arrived in NC.  11 days of cuddling, laughing, story telling, flute playing, encouraging chats and more took place.  We are so grateful to have family that builds us up.  

Keek was able to teach Sophia how to play a couple songs from our songbook - Daily Walking with Jehovah and Ever Loyal.  It is amazing how quick Sophia picked them up!  So proud of her!!!!!

Sophia was able to show her horse riding skills as well!  Kona (the horse) performed all his tricks too.  

Next up......the beach house!!!!!

Pops & Grandma's Official 50th Anniversary

January 4, 2014 - 50th Anniversary

That evening, our families that live in NC, visited Mom & Dad; brought cake and gifts and enjoyed seeing them exchange their gifts.  Since the "big" celebration would be in Isle of Palms at the beach house, we kept it simple.  

Happy Anniversary to the love birds!!!!

It's that time again.....sleepover time!!  Asia & Graycen were over this time.  It is never a dull moment with 4 girls.  They were BUSY, but had lots of fun.  Makes me happy!

6th Grade Winter Band Concert

Tuesday night was Sophia's 1st official band concert.  She was so very excited!!  It was a success and made us proud.  She really enjoys playing the flute.  

All of our family in NC were able to attend.  That made Sophia very happy!!

After the concert, we invited all back to our house for dessert.  The Vang's came as well.  Aliah & Sophia both play the flute and they are in our congregation!  The evening was wonderful!  

Sophia ~ over the past few months, you've practiced so much with your flute and it shows!  You play beautifully!!  Keep up the good work sweetie!!!
