Special Assembly Day

Yesterday was our Special Assembly Day at the Salisbury Assembly Hall.  It is a beautiful, comfortable building, designed for our needs.  We met our new District Overseer and his wife and were encouraged and built up.  Always just what we need!  

We were so proud of Josh fulfilling his duties as chairman for the day.  He did a great job!!

up with it all on her own.

Last Carowinds Visit for 2013

A couple weeks ago, we went to Carowinds with the McKinley Family & Lynsey came too.  We all had a great time, as usual.  The kids love having buddies to go on rides with.

Grandparent's Lunch with Abby

Earlier this week, Abby's school invited the Grandparent's to lunch.  Abby was excited to have Pops & Grandma meet her friends.  We are grateful to have them close by to have such a great impact on our girls.  Looks like they had a great time together!!

Sebastian's Visit

Sebastian was able to come for a visit....what a treat for his Dad!!!  We had all the family over (the ones that live in NC).  Mick & Sebastian arrived with a new member to the family.....a puppy for Sebastian to take home to FL.  He is totally adorable and named Theodore.  Of course the girls were in love.

Sebastian has turned into a man, I mean the last time he was here (6 months ago) to now....wow, what a change!  He has grown in so many ways.  Still a sweet boy and so kind to his cousins.

New Band Student

Check it out......Sophia is a band student!!!

After much anticipated waiting, she was accepted to play the flute.  Only 8 slots for the flute available (about 75 students in band) and she is in.  Thanks to her cousin Alexis, she has a flute.  So sweet that Kelly shipped it down here along with the case and stand.  Now the fun begins......figuring out how to play.  Exciting times!!!!  She can now join the other two in our family that play the flute (Kirsten & Alexis).

Udderly D-Lish

The night before school started, we took Pops & Grandma to Udderly Delicious - homemade ice cream.  This was their first visit and they LOVED it, just like us.  The variety of flavors (my fav is Salty Caramel, Abby's - Oreo & Hoofprint, Sophia's - Peanut Butter, Daddy's - Rocky Road & Strawberry) is amazing.  They even make the waffle cones from scratch, right there.  If you come to visit, we'll take you there too!
