Going Away Party

In October, Turkoly's hosted a going away party for Emanuel.  He is getting married & moving away.  We will miss him in our congregation!! 

The day consisted of v-ball, chatting, corn hole, lots of food and good company.  It was great!

Annual Fall Party

 The Ahlf's hosted their annual fall party and it was the a wonderful time!  They put so much effort into making it enjoyable for all.  15 teams of 6 each team, plus ones that helped with timing the events = a nice, large, fun group.  The events are a combination requiring smarts, agility, tough stomach, technique and all while being timed.  There were over 14 events.  

Our team was JAMBA'S (the initials of each of our team members).  It is neat to see the creativity with some teams!  

After the games, it was FOOD time and the massive bonfire.  We are so thankful to be a part of such a loving, fun, close congregation!

Walk-A-Thon @ Abby's School

A couple weeks ago Abby's school put on a Walk-A-Thon.  Basically a fundraiser for the school that involved the kids working out!  SCORE!!  They had a blast too......who wouldn't with popsicles, temporary tattoos and games.

Red Wolf Farm Field Trip

Recently Abby's class had their first field trip of the year @ Red Wolf Farm.  I was happy to chaperone and get to know these kids a little more.  I give the teachers so much credit - the noise level when they get excited.....YIKES!  There were so many animals to learn about, which was right up Ab's alley.  She is Ms. Animal Lover.  We hiked the woods, had a picnic lunch, picked pumpkins, had play time, found our way through the maze and rode the hay ride.  We were exhausted by the end, but happy.
